Transflo’s Sustainability Mission
Transflo is proud to report that it has reduced carbon emissions in line with its reduction target, set via the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2021. Transflo committed to reducing its operational emissions – Scope 1 & 2 – by 42% by 2030 and continually monitoring its value chain emissions. Transflo has reduced its direct greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with climate science and will continue to do so leading up to 2030.
The Science Based Targets initiative drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling companies to set science-based emissions reduction targets. More than 6,000 businesses around the world have approved targets through SBTi.
Transflo lowered its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 54% from 2022 to 2023 and is currently on track to meet its 2030 target.
Transflo achieved this reduction through its ongoing shift from in office to remote working. It also purchases renewable electricity credits to mitigate its emissions from electricity consumption in locations where direct renewable electricity is not yet available. While Transflo has already met its required emissions by 2030, it will continue to transition its existing offices to renewables and drive further reduction.
While Transflo is committed to reducing its emissions, it also strives to improve efficiency and decrease waste throughout the transportation sector.
Its products help customers achieve more sustainable outcomes through:
