Technology Projects Accelerating Transflo Growth and Innovation
TAMPA, Florida, September 12, 2016 – Pegasus TransTech, a leader in enterprise mobility and business process automation for the transportation industry, today announced that Salem Elnahwy has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer, a newly created role highlighting the company’s focus on engineering excellence. Mr. Elnahwy will lead the company’s development, quality assurance, and user experience organization and report to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

The executive promotion comes during a period of accelerated growth and innovation for the company. Elnahwy and his teams have led the successful development of several solutions in the Transflo portfolio, including Transflo Mobile, the most widely-used enterprise mobility solution in trucking and transportation. Previously, he served as Vice President of Development and is a 13-year veteran of the company and the industry.

Elnahwy studied computer science and biochemistry, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. He previously held software development roles at global network and mobile company Verizon as well as Boston-based IT services firm Keane. He is a long-time resident of Tampa, Florida where Pegasus TransTech is headquartered and continues to add new employees.
