Our Management Team
Frank Adelman leads the Transflo business and executive team. In 2004, he joined the company as Senior Vice President, and he was appointed the Chief Executive Officer in 2013. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for both the Merchant Services Division and the Transportation Group at Comdata Corp., a $350 million provider of payment and information services to the transportation industry. Prior to joining Comdata, Frank was Vice President of Sales for the Trendar Corp., a venture-funded company providing point-of-sale and fleet data information systems to the transportation industry. His leadership includes over 30 years of software, data, payment, and transportation experience, including more than 20 years of executive leadership and general management experience.
He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee.
Michael Southworth is responsible for all company operations, engineering, marketing, and business development. Prior to joining the company he served as the General Manager of the Intelligent Self-Service business at Verint Systems, Inc., From June 2014 to February 2016, Michael was Chief Executive Officer of Contact Solutions and led its business transformation, including strategy planning, risk mitigation, executive recruitment, and change management.
Michael holds a B.S. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Grid Dynamics, Inc.
Don Burke leads Transflo’s operations, implementation and technical services, consulting, and project management organization. In 1999, he joined the company, leading the training and project management organization. He has held a variety of leadership roles within the company and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2013. Previously, he served as Vice President at The Summit Group, a consulting organization specializing in business process automation and process effectiveness to Fortune 500 firms. His leadership includes 30 years of IT, project management, and consulting experience, and he is known for building and managing profitable service organizations.
Don attended Colorado State University.
Salem Elnahwy leads Transflo’s technology, quality assurance, and user experience organizations. In 2003, he joined the company in the development organization, later served as Vice President of Development, and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2016. Previously, he led software development at global network and mobile company Verizon (previously MCI-WorldCom) as well as Boston-based IT services firm Keane. His leadership includes 20 years of software development, engineering, information technology, and quality assurance experience in mobility, Internet, IT, and transportation industries.
He holds a B.S. degree with honors from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. Fun fact: Salem is a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loves to drive his Mini Cooper.
Christopher Black leads Transflo’s Finance organization. In 2018, he joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer, after having led the finance organizations of four publicly traded or private-equity-backed companies, including American Commercial Lines where he led the company’s IPO and Vivint where he led the sale of the company to Blackstone. He has also served as a Board Member for three companies including the Sports Information Group and Hi-Tech Veneers.
He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Wabash College and his M.B.A. from Indiana State University.
Doug Schrier leads Transflo’s Product and Innovation organization. In 2017, he joined the company as VP of Product and Innovation after serving as VP of Continuous Improvement and Program Management for Covenant Transportation Group, a $700 million transportation and logistics company. His leadership includes over 15 years of innovation, technology, and management experience in a wide array of companies.
He earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kennesaw State University(Formerly Southern Polytechnic State University).
The Head of Human Resources, leads full scope culture engagement initiatives encompassing employee talent, satisfaction and retention, professional development, compensation and compliance.
She joined Transflo in 2017 as Human Resource Director and promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2020. Previously, Kathleen served as senior management at OHL, now Geodis, and Simon and Schuster, a portfolio company of CBS.
Kathleen holds a Master’s Degree of HR Administration from the University of Michigan and a PHR certification.
Greg is the head of Sales at Transflo with a focus on exceeding customer expectations. Joining Transflo in 2020, Greg brings over 23 years of experience in the Logistics & Transportation industry with a focus on technology and SaaS driven initiatives.
Greg attended Grand Valley State University where he was a 4-year letterman and captained the football team for 3 consecutive years. He also attended Ashford University earning a Bachelor of Arts and graduating Magna Cum Laude.
